Uryuu watched in satisfaction as is arrow pierced through the Arrancar’s side and sent her flying. He had known that an Arrancar of this level would have never been able to defeat him at this point in time, but it was still relieving to see his opponent get hit hard by one of his attacks.
He frowned when the Arrancar stated that she was done and began attempting to retreat. He hated the thought of letting his opponent escape, even if she was injured to such an extent. The pain in his legs was beginning to get troublesome, but he still had plenty of reaitsu to pursue for quite a while.
He quickly gathered his reiatsu to his feet and used a small Hirenkyaku to gently ‘ride’ the energy and end up with the same result as a Shunpo or a Sonido. He then continued running when the Arrancar was in his sights again. “Running already, Arrancar? I thought that you would have a little more spirit than that!”
He wasn’t the type of person to throw insults or provoke people, but he wanted to finish off his opponent, or at least find out what her motive for being here was. The young Quincy knew that Aizen and his Arrancar always had their plans to carry out, and he wanted to find out of this one was on an important assignment.
